More Information On Mixed Martial Arts In Singapore

The first Mixed Martial Arts promotion was actually Shooto in 1985,
Although the term “Mixed Martial Arts” wouldn’t be used regularly until the 1990s.

It was coined by a UFC staff although it is still highly disputed as to which guy
came up with the name but credits to Jeff Blatnick because he was the first one to say it on TV.

Later in the year, 2000 unified rules were created giving the art a true identity as a regulated and commissioned sport.

Over the next 20+ years, the sport began to become less of a clash of different styles and more a style of its own.
